Every year, book lovers across the world come together to celebrate World

Book Day; a special event dedicated to encouraging reading for pleasure, pro-
moting literacy, and making books accessible to all children.

How we Celebrate World Book Day at Abuja Prep
We have asked the children to invent their own characters and dress up using

items they have from home. Children will have the opportunity to write about
their characters in class for our Book week writing competition.
The Early Years department are also planning some exciting dress up and story-

telling activities. More information to follow.

KS2 Sound of Music Production change of date.
This will now be held near the beginning of term 3. We will be in touch with the
