YEAR 3 YEAR 3 Abuja Preparatory School emerged victorious in the unique 2024 Inter-School Art Competition on

Thursday, June 13th, at The Regent School, Abuja. In a head-to-head battle with an eight-member
art team from The Regent School, our talented students showcased their exceptional artistic prow-
ess.

The competition presented a challenging still-life composition task: drawing and painting fruit from
the pupils’ perspective (using gouache on cardboard). Our students, with their unwavering dedica-
tion and hard work, demonstrated exceptional skill and passion as they brought their artistic talents
to life.
Art, a powerful medium for students to explore, ignite creativity, and express their innate abilities, is

a cornerstone of education at Abuja Preparatory School. We wholeheartedly encourage their pur-
suit of this noble endeavour, recognizing its immense value in shaping well-rounded individuals.
