Parent-teacher conferences are essential to a child’s continued development. It is a time when

parents and teachers discuss the progress of a child for the term and plan the next steps on
how to work on areas of need. Our Parent Teacher Conferences were well attended this term.
Parents must see this as a feedback session and work cooperatively with the teacher to ensure

their child progresses.

In Key Stage 2, we discuss the test results from the Control tests. Understanding the Cam-
bridge Grading System is vital to these reports.

As an international school, our students are assessed on the standardized system of Cam-
bridge schools. We would run a refresher training for parents next term so you understand
your child’s performance based on the descriptors of the Cambridge Curriculum.
