MRS. DYER
A Year to Remember –
s we bring this academic year to
a close, it is with a deep sense of determination, and enthusiasm. Their
Apride and gratitude that I reflect
on all that we have accomplished
together at Abuja Prep. What a truly
wonderful year it has been! From the
joy of daily learning to the excitement of expectations—smashing UK and
special events, performances, trips, and
milestones, the year has been filled with
moments that have showcased the very
best of our school community.
DISCOVER
I am immensely proud of every single
child in our school. Whether in
Playgroup or Year 6, each pupil has
shown remarkable dedication,
love for learning, their curiosity, and
their willingness to persevere through
challenges are inspiring. This year, once
again, our pupils have exceeded
international averages in every area of
the curriculum. These outcomes are not
only a reflection of academic strength
but of a culture of excellence that runs
throughout our school.
This success would not be possible
without our exceptional teaching staff.
I want to offer my heartfelt thanks

to every teacher who, day after day,
brings passion, creativity, and care into
the classroom. They design lessons
that are exciting and inspiring, always
ensuring that each child is supported,
stretched, and challenged to reach their
full potential. Their hard work and
dedication lie at the heart of all that we
achieve.
I would also like to express my sincere
gratitude to our outstanding Senior
Leadership Team. Their vision,
resilience, and professionalism have
been instrumental in shaping the
direction of the school and in ensuring
that every decision we make is driven

by what is best for our children. They
have provided unwavering support,
not just to me as Headteacher, but to
every member of staff and every family
within our community. It has been an
honour to work alongside such talented
and committed individuals.
Last week was especially memorable
for our Year 6 pupils, who are
preparing to move on to Secondary
School. They have enjoyed a
well-deserved week of celebration,
beginning with a special Year 6
breakfast and culminating in a
wonderful evening at Aldo’s—our
sincere thanks to Aldo’s for hosting us
so warmly. They had their graduation
ceremony this past Friday. It was
difficult to say goodbye, but we are
confident that they will continue to
make us proud as they begin this
exciting new chapter.
