                    efore the Whole School Dinner, new
                    students attended a dining etiquette
                    session to help them feel confident at
        B  a formal table. They began with the                             A lesson in
        “twelve o’clock” method for soup, learning to
        scoop away from themselves and sip without
        blowing. Next, they explored the two main                          Poise and
        cutlery styles: the American style, which involves
        switching the fork to the right hand after cutting,                Presence
        and the European style, where both fork and knife
        remain in constant use.


        The training also introduced the names and
        uses of dining tools, ensuring students were well-
        prepared for the evening.
