The Ultimate School Search
The Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly, titled "The Ultimate School Search," is designed
to symbolise Year 6 leavers’ readiness to transition from primary to secondary
education. Leavers were assigned tasks to test different skills and qualities such as
teamwork, problem-solving, resilience, and personal organisation, reflecting the
challenges they may face in secondary school. Successful completion of these
tasks represents the students "qualifying" to move to the next educational level.
The assembly combines celebration with purposeful reflection, helping students
acknowledge their growth and prepare mentally and emotionally for the exciting
new chapter ahead.
