Features of a Newspaper
Report
his week, our Year 3 students
delved into the fascinating world of
Tnewspaper reports by identifying
and analysing key features. They explored
various newspapers, cutting out similar
details from different stories to compare
headlines, layouts, and writing styles. By
matching these features across different
articles, they gained insight into how each
element contributes to a compelling
story. They highlighted important details,
sharpening their understanding of
how newspapers capture and convey
information to readers. It was an engaging
way to bring media literacy and critical
thinking skills to the forefront.
