Poppy Appeal

Dear Parent/Guardian/Pupil,

We are approaching a significant date in our calendar: Armed Forces Remembrance Day,
which will be celebrated on Wednesday 15th January 2025.

As we reflect on the values we strive to instil in our school community, we are reminded of
the importance of compassion, gratitude, and service to others. As part of our efforts to
honour the sacrifices of our veterans and members of the Armed Forces, The Regent Primary
School is distributing Poppies to raise funds for charity.

The proceeds from the sale of Poppies will provide vital financial, social, and emotional
support to veterans, members of the Armed Forces, and their families. By purchasing
Poppies and donating to this worthy cause, you will becontributing to the well-being of a
new generation of veterans and Armed Forces personnel.

To support this initiative, we invite you to buy a poppy and/or make donations to the school

Please note that cash donations are not permitted. Instead, kindly use the above account
details to make your contribution. When making the transfer, please ensure that the
narration clearly states “Poppy Appeal” to facilitate accurate tracking and allocation of

As a mark of respect and solidarity with the veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice,
we will present cheques to the Nigerian Veteran Affairs Division during our Assembly on
Wednesday, 15th January 2025.
