On the 30th of September, we celebrated the Nigerian Ultimately, the South-West zone emerged victorious,
National Day. The event showcased the richness and sweeping the competition with their remarkable
diversity of Nigeria’s culture, with all six geopolitical zones performances in all categories. The day ended with a rich

The performances began with colourful dances from the
different geopolitical zones, where students displayed the
intricate steps of traditional dances and storytelling of their
wedding rites. In the drama segment, the South-West zone
students impressed the audience with a well-acted re-
enactment of local folklore, while the Southeast group
displayed Igbo traditions through their attire and
storytelling.
The fashion parade was a visual feast, with students from
each zone strutting the runway in their region’s most iconic
outfits. The South-West delegation dazzled the judges with
their elaborate Aso-Oke attire, while international students
representing foreign countries added a unique global touch
to the event.
