I can’t believe we are already almost at the close of another academic
Dyear, we are still busy with activities and learning. Today we enjoyed our
wonderful French Cafe with songs, performances, food and games and were all
immersed into the French language and culture.
Tomorrow the children will have the opportunity to move to their next year group,
meet the teachers and find out about some of the exciting activities as well as the
expectations for September.
On Friday we have our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 prize giving where we cele-
brate all that our children have achieved throughout the year.
Dates for the end of term
• Thursday 4th July – Children experience transition to their new year groups
• Friday 5th July – Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Prize Giving
• Monday 8th July – Class Parties
• Tuesday 9th July – End of Term School closes at 11 am.
• Wednesday 10th July – Year 6 Graduation – School Reports to parents.
Nigerian Village Day
As you can see from the pictures, we had a wonderful morning last week with our
Year 4 students who hosted a Nigerian Village Market.
We talk a lot about preparing our children for a globalised world but for children to
understand others it is important that they understand their own culture and herit- Thank you to all of our Year 4 parents who provided home cooked food, fruits and snacks.
