Celebrating Nigeria’s Independence Day in Style!
Abuja Preparatory School marked Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day with vibrant activities show-
casing the country’s rich culture and heritage.
The Students and staff donned stunning green and white outfits, reflecting Nigeria’s national
colours.
The celebration started with a whole school assembly with a captivating drama presentation by
our talented staff members, depicting Nigeria’s Unity in diversity.
Our aspiring young poet, Abigail Musa, from Year Six Jaguar, took centre stage, reciting an origi-
nal composition that echoed Nigeria’s resilience, unity, and progress.
We also showcased Nigeria’s diverse heritage through traditional dances. At break time, there
were local games and fun activities for the children during their playtimes.
It was an unforgettable cultural experience!
