As a school, we proudly celebrate the rich cultural heritage that unites us despite our diverse
Year 5
Year 5 backgrounds. The Year 6 students undertook an exciting research project to revive the
memories of Nigeria’s fascinating festivals. Our masterpiece showcases the vibrant Calabar
Carnival of Southern Nigeria, the thrilling Argungun Fishing Festival of the North, the

majestic Eyo Festival of the South West, and the joyful New Yam Festival of the South East.

These celebrations highlight our unique cultural identities and shared heritage. This activity
has significantly enhanced the learners’ understanding of diverse festivals, including their simi-

larities and differences.
Additionally, it has developed their research and creative skills.

We proudly declare: “Our Culture, Our Pride!”
