Blast Off into Imagination: Year 1 Space Party!
In a burst of creativity and wonder, our Year 1 students embarked on an unforgettable journey into
the cosmos at our recent Space Party! Donning their imaginative DIY space costumes, our young ad-
venturers transformed into intrepid astronauts ready to explore the mysteries of the universe.

With each homemade helmet and shimmering cape, our school grounds were awash in a kaleidoscope
of colours, echoing the vibrant hues of distant galaxies. From cardboard rocket ships to sparkling star
badges, every detail was a testament to the boundless creativity of our students.

Amidst the excitement, the day also featured a DIY rocket lunch, where our budding astronauts craft-
ed their own cosmic Rocket using vinegar and baking soda. Our lunchtime became a feast for the eyes
and the taste buds as the children explored different meals astronauts eat in space.

As the day unfolded, laughter filled the air as our young explorers engaged in games and activities that
ignited their imaginations. From moonwalk races to asteroid scavenger hunts, every moment was a

thrilling adventure into the unknown.

But beyond the games and activities, the Year 1 Space Party celebrated curiosity, creativity, and the joy
of shared discovery. It reminded us that the greatest adventures often begin with a simple spark of
imagination and the courage to explore the unknown.

As we bid farewell to this enchanting day, we carry with us memories of laughter, friendship, and the
boundless possibilities that await us among the stars. Though our feet may be firmly planted on the
ground, our spirits soar among the galaxies, fuelled by the power of imagination and the wonder of

the cosmos.
