TRIP TO TRUST TV

oday was one of the best trips I have ever experienced in my eleven
short years! We had the amazing opportunity to visit Trust TV—a top
Tdaily news station. Not only did we learn about what they do, they also

kindly showed us how newspapers are made.

Our journey began at the workstation, where stories are carefully reviewed for
possible errors. The people who work there are known as the digital team. Their
role is to edit and prepare news before it goes live or is shared on social media
platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). In some cases, they

also manage online transactions and handle stories shown on live streams.

Once the digital team has done their part, the content is passed on to the

editors. Editors are responsible for polishing the news—making sure everything
looks and sounds appealing for viewers.

After editing, the content is sent to the MCR—the Master Control Room. This is
where the final version is broadcast live. It was so exciting to see how everything

 comes together!

I truly enjoyed every moment of this eye-opening experience. It was incredible

to see how much hard work goes into the news we read and watch every day.

To end the trip, we took group photos with the staff, then got back on the bus
and headed back to school. It was a fun and educational experience—I truly
 enjoyed every moment!
