OUR EXCITING VISIT TO

n Monday 19th May, Year 6 pupils went on an exciting trip to Bartum Energy. We
left the school at around 9:15 AM and arrived shortly afterwards at the site of

Othe company. As soon as we got there, we were warmly welcomed by the staff

who were very kind and friendly.

We all sat down, and the session began with an introduction from Mr. Samuel, the
company’s Human Resources Manager. He started by asking us some questions about
solar energy—what it is, how it works, and how solar panels generate electricity. To his

surprise, we answered correctly, which made him even more enthusiastic and excited
to teach us more.

After the questions, we watched a short video that explained how solar panels work. It
was really interesting and helped us understand the process much better. Then came

one of the most exciting parts of the visit—a hands-on demonstration where we used
a solar panel to turn a light bulb on and off. It actually worked, and I was amazed to
see it in action!

Later, we learnt about the business side of BartUm Energy, including how they promote

and sell their products. Two of our classmates gave brilliant sales pitches about whether
or not to buy Bartum Energy’s products. Their presentations were mind-blowing and
left everyone impressed.

To end the trip, we took group photos with the staff, then got back on the bus and
headed back to school. It was a fun and educational experience—I truly enjoyed every
moment!
