n the 30th of June 2024, Obi Hos-
tel participated in a community
O service project visiting an elderly
home. My hostel mates and I had col-
lected items to donate.

We were welcomed with warmth and

kindness when we entered, even with
a song. So we introduced ourselves
to them and dropped off the denoted
items. They were so happy and grateful
for the items they prayed for us right be-
fore we left.

Throughout the day, I felt more sym-
pathetic to the challenges faced
by the elderly and I appreciate the
management of the elderly home
for providing shelter for people like

that. I am also grateful to God for my
privilege and the opportunity to give
back to the community.
