Have you ever wondered why we organise Maths workshop for parents?
At Abuja Preparatory School, we take pride in helping our parents understand the maths curriculum
their child is studying, including key concepts, skills, and learning objectives.
Workshops for parents in our school aim to:

Engage: Create an inviting atmosphere to encourage parental participation.
Inform: Provide an overview of the importance of parental involvement in math education.
Demonstrate: Showcase effective teaching methods and strategies used in the classroom.
Practice: Engage parents in interactive activities and exercises to reinforce learning.
Support: Offer resources and tools for parents to continue supporting math learning at home.
Feedback: Encourage parents to share their thoughts, concerns, and questions for ongoing sup-

port and improvement.

Through the Maths Workshop, parents gained insights into their child’s maths education, learned prac-
tical ways to support learning at home, and felt empowered to participate actively in their child’s math-
ematical development.
