Timileyin Adesina Shares Her Experience Participating In The 2025 Dance Competition

his year’s Inter-House Dance amazing, and what I’m most proud of
Competition was honestly one of is how far we came and how much we
the best we’ve had in school. Every grew through the process. And honestly,
T house brought their A-game, and watching the other houses perform was just
it was clear how much effort went into the as inspiring – everyone gave it their all, and
performances. The energy, creativity, and it made the whole event even better.
teamwork from all sides made the whole
          event really special.

For Benue House, it was a moment we’ll
never forget. We came first in both the
          Contemporary and Nigerian categories,
and came second in the Group category.

At the start, trying to convince people to join
was a struggle. Some were nervous about
performing, others weren’t sure they had
the time. Then came the stress of sorting
out costumes and making sure rehearsals
          happened consistently. There were times
when it felt like we wouldn’t make it.

But somehow, we pulled through, with the
help of 10 Benue, other students who put in
all the effort needed, and all the teachers
          that helped along the line.

What really made the difference was
          the teamwork. Everyone started showing
up with energy, learning the steps, and
          supporting each other. Winning felt
