Our second Literacy Sequence in Year 5 focuses on the works of significant poets. The students
will focus on timeless and captivating pieces of poetry that delve into the depth of human

Famous poets like William Shakespeare and Michael Rosen offer a glimpse into the human soul,
reminding us of our humanity. Their poetry serves as a grounding and uplifting force, providing
