The beauty of children learning a new language lies in their natural ability to absorb, adapt, and
thrive in a multilingual world! Learning a new language lies in fearless curiosity and an approach to
language learning with a sense of wonder and adventure. These fantastic young minds quickly absorb
language rules and build vocabularies like sponges. It’s funny how the pronunciation comes out, but
the beauty and efforts made are everything growth.
In the early years, the French club read a French/English book, “La Surprise de Handa “written by
Eileen Browne. We identified Handa’s fruits and took turns calling the names in French. We had fun
forming our own opinions on Handa’s preferences.
