In science, our Year 3 students have been digging deep into the fascinating world of plants!
Through hands-on learning, they’ve discovered the essential conditions for plant growth, from
sunlight to water and healthy soil. To bring this knowledge to life, each child had the chance to
plant their very own sunflower seed!
As these sunflowers grow from tiny seeds to towering blooms, students will closely observe
each stage, tracking growth and learning firsthand about the plant lifecycle. This exciting pro-
ject not only builds scientific understanding but also teaches patience and the joy of nurturing
life. We can’t wait to see these sunflowers—and our students—grow and thrive!
