Becoming Matter: Exploring Solid, Liquid, and Gas

                                                                                                                                                                        The Regent School has been an integral part of my life

                                                                                                                                                                        from 2007 to 2019. I began my journey from the prima-

                                                                                                                                                                        ry school (2007–2011), continued through the secondary

                                                                                                                                                                        school (2012–2017), and completed  the college (2018–
                                                                                                                                                                       2019). The school played a crucial role in shaping who I

                                                                                                                                                                    am today.

                                                                                                                                                                It was at The Regent School that I first developed critical think-

                                                                                                                                      ing skills, the ability to analyse, evaluate, and approach problems thoughtfully. The

                                                                                                                                      self-awareness, ambition, and drive I carry today were nurtured in The Regent School.

                                                                                                                                      This foundation stayed with me through my university journey at Oxford Brookes Uni-

                                                                                                                                      versity, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Politics & International Re-
                                                                                                                                      lations, and continues to influence me now in my career as a brand strategist and

                                                                                                                                      graphic designer at Quill n Co.

                                                                                                                                      One of the most lasting lessons I took from The Regent School was the importance

                                                                                                                                      of confidence, self-belief, and leadership. It is because of this foundation that, after

                                                                                                                                      establishing myself as a brand strategist & graphic designer, I still hope to serve in

                                                                                                                                      leadership roles such as Minister of Finance or Minister of Foreign Affairs one day.




                                                                                                                                      I could share so much more about the ways The Regent School shaped me, but that

                                                                                                                                      would take up an entire newsletter. What I will say is this: wherever life takes you, 5, 10,
                                                                                                                                      or 20 years from now, you will look back and appreciate the school that raised you.

                                                                                                                                      Do not take these days for granted, they are the most crucial years of your adult life.
