CHESS CLUB
CHESS CL
The session at the chess club was both engaging and educational. The children actively partic-
ipated in learning fundamental aspects of the game, such as placing pawns and other pieces
on the chessboard. They demonstrated enthusiasm and a willingness to grasp the strategies
involved in chess. Chess is a slow-paced game that requires patience and strategy. Continuing
to teach how to place pawns and other pieces helps them develop these essential skills, as they
need to focus on the game and think carefully about each move.
We placed our attention on developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and spatial
awareness among the children. They were fully engaged and showed a keen interest in compre-
hending the rules and strategies for every move in the chess game. Learning how to play chess
is a gradual process, and it is truly remarkable to witness children embracing the challenges with
such a positive attitude.
