THE REGENT WELCOME TO OUR MATHS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
THIS WEEK
THIS WEEK
It was the annual and intriguing Maths
Champions competition organised by the Maths
Team. Every year, the entire Primary Years of
the school look forward to this Maths contest!
Each class made selections of 2 students to
represent their classes. This is indeed a
battle that showcases knowledge, understanding,
mental prowess, confidence and the ability to
deliver accurate answers under the
pressure of time!
This event enables our students to identify their
capabilities and motivates them to learn and
expand their knowledge. The competition NATHAN BRAMBAIFA ,
CHARBEL ELIAS
enhanced the inquisitiveness of the students
thereby building mathematical confidence. YEAR 1A
The atmosphere was charged up with high
energy and great support from parents of our
finalists!
Once the ground rules were established by the
Maths Coordinator, the students engaged in
a two-round session consisting of the Mental
Maths in Round 1 and the Word Problems in the
2nd round. All scores were collated to identify
the classes that emerged with gold, silver and
bronze award certificates. The children
participated with great enthusiasm showcasing
their potential. At the end of the event,
participants were awarded certificates of ECHIOMA OKEKE
achievement and participation with a medal. HEAVENLY NNAMDI JNR
