Our little chefs had an exciting time in the kitchen as they learned how to make a
delicious dish called Yamarita! Using simple ingredients—yam, flour, and eggs—
the children explored the joy of cooking while developing essential skills like meas-
uring, mixing, and frying.
After boiling the yam until soft, they helped prepare a tasty batter by whisking eggs
and mixing flour with seasoning. The best part? Coat the yam in the flour and egg
mixture before watching it turn golden brown as it fried!
The children couldn’t wait to taste their crispy, flavorful Yamarita. This cooking
experience sparked creativity, teamwork, and a love for cooking, a perfect blend of
learning and deliciousness!
