Remembering the Brave on 11/11
THE 11TH HOUR OF THE 11TH DAY
IN THE 11TH MONTH
Remembrance Day, observed every year on 11th November, marks the armi-
stice that ended World War I in 1918. At 11 o’clock on the 11th day of the 11th
month, a moment of silence is held to remember and honour all the men and
women who have served and sacrificed in wars and conflicts, both past and
present.
