 04 Dear Parents,

It has been another busy and exciting week in our school and I would like
Year 2A Assembly 06 to begin this week by thanking you all for your support. Our second annual

camp-out night was attended by nearly 100 students who enjoyed an
evening with friends, undertaking a host of activities in the ‘Upper Regent
Unraveling Nature 14 Forest’ and the ‘Regent Sea’ before spending the night under canvas with

friends. It was an experience which children were keen to share with me on

Time and Distance Monday morning and I am sure it will last long in the memories of all
 16 involved.

Many of you may remember an article from early November, in which I
Tracking Adverbial Clause 20 informed you that we had entered a national Science competition. I am

very proud to be able to announce that the results have been released
this week and out a team made up of Nwana Zara Akpolagha Dickson,
Sunrise (Hero or Vilan) 21 Nana Asmau Hassan Ibrahim, Adaeze Nwosu Iheme and Aderinsola Sofola

scored an impressive 98/100, placing them third overall. With this Sunday

Threads Of Creativity 22 being the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, it is the perfect
time to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our team who
represented the school so successfully. Congratulations to each of you!

As we approach the mid-term break, I urge you all to reflect on the many
successes you have achieved and to set yourself new goals and
AISEN Science Competition Result 26 challenges for the second half term. With the project exhibition just around

the corner, this last week of the term would be an excellent opportunity to
Colours of Excellence 36 discuss your thoughts on your project with your teachers and parents,
allowing you the opportunity to gather resources and complete some

background reading over the holiday. Learning to manage your time and
Nurse’s Corner 38 planning ahead is acritical skill that will set you on the road to success in

future life. Talking of success… I am sure you will all join me in wishing
                                     Nigeria well in this
Sunday’s African Cup of Nations Final!
