he first day of The Regent Games was full of excitement and
energy! Our amazing students at The Regent School surprised
Teveryone by doing even better than expected in the races. They
ran fast, worked well together, and showed great team spirit in both
the individual sprints and the relay races. Everyone cheered as the
runners gave their best and made the day truly special.
Why Running is Great for You!
Running is not just fun—it is super good for your body and mind!
When you run, your heart and lungs get stronger, helping you stay
healthy. It also makes your muscles and bones stronger, which is
important as you grow. Running helps you become more balanced
and coordinated, so you can move faster and with more confidence.
Plus, running releases happy chemicals in your brain that help you
feel less stressed and more cheerful!
Teamwork and Fun in Relay Races
Relay races are extra special because they are all about working as
a team. You pass the baton to your teammate, and everyone has
to run their best to win together. This teaches you how to commu-
nicate, cooperate, and support each other. Relay races also help “Running and relay races not only make you
