Our Year 1 Literacy Immersion, “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt,” was an exhilarating journey
through various story settings. Our young adventurers had a blast exploring a diverse range of
adjectives.

From the tall, wavy grass to the dark, gloomy cave, the children immersed themselves in imag-
inative landscapes, encountering colourful characters and thrilling scenarios at every turn. As
they ventured through these captivating tales, they enjoyed the magic of descriptive language,

using adjectives to bring their adventures to life with vivid detail and excitement.

Through this immersive journey, our students not only expanded their vocabulary but also
sharpened their storytelling skills. They developed a deeper appreciation for the power of lan-

guage. Each new adjective they encountered opened up new avenues of creativity and imagina-
tion, transforming ordinary words into extraordinary adventures.

As we look back on the recently concluded ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ immersion, we cele-

brate the profound impact it had on our students. It was a testament to the joy of exploration,
the beauty of storytelling, and the limitless possibilities that unfold when we dare to dream and
let our imaginations soar.
