Our eager Year 1 pupils recently embarked on a mesmerising journey through space during
their visit to Abuja’s International Space Museum—and what an unforgettable adventure it

was!
From the moment they arrived, little faces lit up in awe as they stepped into the world of
rockets, planets, and pioneers.
Highlights of the Trip include a uided tour of the museum, a beath-taking 3d virtual

experience of the solar system.

• Virtual reality games that sparked curiosity and imagination
• A visit to Julie Payette’s Corner and the Past Astronauts Bursts exhibit

• Hands-on learning about rocket models and Earth-orbiting satellites

The children were full of thoughtful questions and excitement, especially when they saw
portraits of space pioneers. Many even expressed dreams of becoming the first Nigerian

astronaut—imagining their own portraits proudly displayed one day!

The day ended with an inspiring video

showing astronauts living and working in
space, leaving the pupils buzzing with new
knowledge and big dreams.
