We Lived It!!
ast Saturday, The Regent Secondary turned
into a slice of Morocco, and honestly, it was
L amazing. From the moment you walked in, you
could feel the vibe, the lights, the music, the smell
of Moroccan bakhoor in the air; it was like stepping
straight into the heart of Marrakech.
We started things off with a Moroccan Sahara folklore
dance, full of energy, rhythm, and colour. It set the
tone perfectly for the night. Then came our main
act, “The Crown of Morocco,” a short play that gave
everyone a glimpse into Morocco’s royal history and
culture. After the play, we opened the floor for an
interactive Q&A, where the audience got to share
their thoughts and ask questions about what they’d
just watched. It made the whole experience feel alive
and connected.
Next up, we brought the spotlight to Moroccan
celebrities, celebrating icons who’ve put Morocco on
the map. The crowd went wild when Achraf Hakimi
made his entrance, dribbling a ball across the stage
like the star he is! But the biggest surprise of the night
came at the end when French Montana showed up
as a special guest performer. Then he performed his
renowned “Unforgettable”. After that, we had a belly
dance performance, and we got a few people from
the audience and even one of the judges to try our
belly dance. It was very memorable
