showcase the many diverse tribes in Nigeria. They
were expressed in the most creative ways and most
of all there was lots of cultural festivity.
Of course, though there was a friendly competition
between year groups and in year 6 my class won.
It was quite an exciting moment indeed.
The next best part of this celebration was getting to
know more about the cultural heritage of the vast
places in Nigeria like Ile-Ife etc. Lastly,
I enjoyed knowing and eating the different cultural
foods from the amazing cultures in Nigeria. To sum it
up I would just like to say that Nigeria is a nation that
is great to far extents with great cultural celebrations
that will take us proud Nigerians a lifetime to Madeleine Ewa

The Regent School celebrates Nigeria
On 27th September the Regent School celebrated Nigeria day. On
Nigeria day children are assigned with different tribes. The children
brought delicious food from different tribes such as
. Tuwo
. suya
. Garri and soup e.t.c
They also presented their cultures with flying colours, personally my
favourite acts were Year 6R and S. The children also presented to
their parents. The parents got to taste the delicious yummy food.
What made this fun event special for me is that we got to see a
diversity of tribes and cultures, from Igboland to the FCT, it shows
that we are unique.
