The Reception Group enjoyed immersing themselves in a jam sandwich experience. Following
an exciting Literacy lesson on lists, instructions and recipes, the children read the story “The
Giant Jam Sandwich” and journeyed into sandwich making.

Following the list and recipe, their eager hands began assembling their delicious creations.

YEAR 6 YEAR 6 and the joy and satisfaction of creating something delicious with their hands.
From creamy spreads and layerings to colourful vegetables, children savoured the sandwiches
