A Concise summary:

Dixie’s mom announces she is pregnant and they will be moving to a different

house to make room for the baby because she has 4 girls and Dixie is the

youngest. This excites everyone except Martine, the eldest who doesn’t want
to move because of her friend. Mum goes into labour while Dixie is playing and

Martine has to take her to the hospital. When Mum comes home from the

hospital. She allows no one care for the baby but Dixie becomes helpful and
changes the baby’s nappy and discovers the baby is a Girl!

I would recommend this book to children of age 9+ because it has advanced

words in the book.
