The Regent School has instilled in its students the
importance of charity and giving back to society

through events like the bake sale, Pyjama Day, and
more.

Inspired by this ethos, Wania has decided that
all proceeds from the book — from all copies
sold now and, in the future, — will be donated to

orphanages and to causes supporting climate and
environmental preservation, such as tree planting.
This act of generosity is even more admirable than
the authorship of the book itself.

The Regent School’s role in Wania’s development
— in both learning and character — cannot be
overstated. She has also expressed a desire to invite

all students at The Regent School to come together
one Saturday, bringing tree seedlings to be planted
within the school grounds or the surrounding areas.

Born here in Abuja, Wania is a Nigerian at heart.

She has received her entire education exclusively in
Nigeria, and only at The Regent School. This is not
just a proud moment for Wania, and for us as her

parents, but also for The Regent School — and indeed,
for Nigeria.”

I am sure you will all join me in congratulating Wania, not only for her success in writing and
publishing a book but also for her inspiring display of values and compassion toward those
less fortunate. While we strive for academic excellence, it is values like these that we aim to
