A CELEBRATION OF
CULTURE
Theme Night n Saturday, October 12th, Danfodio Hostel
had its theme night. The theme was Hau-
O sa and Fulani culture, and to honour it, we
staged a short drama depicting the new Emir of
Kano state at his coronation.
The members of the Danfodio hostel poured their
hearts and souls into the performance, not to men-
tion the effort spent rehearsing each step.
The dish was prepared with an extra touch of home
and it tasted delicious. The major feature, the Emir’s
spectacular entry on his horse, was breathtaking.
Overall, the theme night was a terrific way to high-
light Hausa and Fulani culture.
