Introducing The Regent College
Principal
Dr. Jose Prasad
Dr. Prasad holds a B.Sc. and B.Ed. in Mathematics from Kerala University, India, and
went on to earn an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Mahatma Gandhi
University, India. He began his teaching career in 1990 and has taught across multiple
curricula, including CBSE, IGCSE, IB, WAEC and University.
He has held key positions such as Vice Principal at G.D. Birla School, India, and IB
Mathematics Instructor at Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School in Jakarta, Indonesia.
His professional journey spans India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore before arriving
in Nigeria. In Nigeria, he has served at Zaria Academy and lectured in Mathematics at
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, as well as Veritas University, Bwari, Abuja.
Dr. Prasad joined The Regent College, Abuja, as Deputy Principal in 2021. Following the
passing of our beloved Principal, the Late Mrs. Ebiai, in 2023, he stepped into the role of
Acting Principal. In recognition of his dedication and leadership, the Board of The Regent
College promoted him as Principal of The Regent College, Abuja, with effect from
September 2025.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Prasad and wish him continued success in
leading the College to even greater heights.
