Future Leaders Forge Connections: The

Regent School and ASA Host

Transformative Leadership Boot Camp

On Saturday, October 11th, 2025, The Regent A particular highlight was the practical
College Abuja, in partnership with the Abuja engagement with Human-Centred
Schools Association, proudly hosted a dynamic Design Thinking, equipping students
leadership boot camp for upper high school with frameworks to approach

students. This impactful event brought together community and global challenges with
180 bright young minds from nine distinguished empathy and innovative solutions,
high schools, accompanied by 22 dedicated ensuring that the next generation of
educators. Spearheaded by The Regent leaders is prepared not just to manage,
College’s Head of Activities, who also served as but to transform.
Camp Director, and supported by a team of
esteemed camp managers, the boot camp
immersed participants in a day of transformative,
hands-on learning.

The curriculum was meticulously designed to
cultivate essential 21st-Century leadership skills.
Through engaging experiential activities, students
delved into the crucial areas of emotional
intelligence, honing their self-awareness and
empathy. Critical thinking exercises challenged
them to analyse complex problems and devise
innovative solutions. Effective communication and
collaboration were fostered through team-based
challenges, while sessions on personal identity
and branding empowered them to understand
their unique strengths.
