                                                    Julian Isaac Chukwu

he day began with a cold, gray sky
over the pyramids, and the air felt
Tsharp against myskin. I wrapped my

scarf tighter around my neck and looked
out at the ancient stonesrising majesti-
cally against the horizon. The sight was
                      breathtaking but made me shiver.

As we were finally making our way to the
perfume shop I was suddenly enveloped

by awave of warm, inviting scents. It was
like stepping into a cozy kitchen bustling
                      withactivity.

The scent of oud mingled with the warm
aroma of vanilla, creating a bouquet that
enveloped me like a soft embrace. It felt
as if the very essence of spices swirled
aroundme, wrapping me in comfort and

making me feel instantly at home.
        The scent of oud

        mingled with the

        warm aroma of

        vanilla, creating

        a bouquet that

        enveloped me like

        a soft embrace.
