FAREWELL

Dear Regent Secondary School Class of 2025,

“Graduation day is here at last”. I am sure these are your exact thoughts at this very mo-
ment. Today, however, is not just about looking back; it’s also about looking forward with hope
and excitement. As you step out into the world beyond these walls, you all embark on a new
chapter filled with endless possibilities and opportunities. Every one of you possesses unique
talents, passions, and perspectives that have the power to shape the world for the better. As
you leave this great institution behind and venture into the unknown, please remember the
lessons you’ve learned here – not just the equations and theories, but the values of integrity,
            resilience, and empathy.

The 2024/2045 academic year had two really big episodes that marked the year and both
happened at the same time. The one very positive outcome of the BSO Inspection where TRSS
attained an Outstanding in all aspects of the inspection, making us the only Day and Board-
ing Secondary School in West Africa to achieve this, and then the negative aspect of a case,
where you were all directly affected. I can only imagine the impact this had on you, but being
a cohort of very hardworking and diligent students, I know that the belief in yourselves and
your abilities only strengthened your resolve to prove that you will get through this unaffect-

ed. And I believe that we will, by the Grace of God, see you achieve excellent results at IGCSE.
This obstacle that you faced along the way has been formidable, yet through resilience and
collaboration, we believe you have emerged stronger and more resolute than ever before. I
am sure that despite all that, you will agree with me that every minute, every lesson, and ev-
ery day spent in this institution will be a fond memory, and reflecting on these memories will
            be treasured by you all.

So here we are today, on a day filled with a myriad of emotions, excitement, nostalgia, an-
ticipation, and perhaps a hint of apprehension. You stand on the threshold of a new chapter.

So let’s raise a toast to fresh starts, grasping chances, and facing the uncertain future with
            bravery and resolve.

I express gratitude to each of you for contributing to this remarkable journey, and
here’s to the thrilling experiences awaiting you all on the horizon!
May God continue to bless, guide and protect you all.
            Sincerely yours,

            Mrs A. AbdulRazaq.
            Proprietress.
