My favourite moment

            of the competition

            was Jordan’s speech
 Inter-House

 Speech
            on “ Money Buys

            Happiness.”

n Friday, March 8th, I participated in the
               Speech Competition representing Sene-
O gal House in the KS4 category against 3
other contestants from different houses. Tolu-
walase delivered an outstanding speech that

propelled us to the finals, where I presented on the
topic “Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder.” Com-
peting for the top spot against Halima Pindar, who
also spoke on the same topic, I felt I gave my best
effort but believe I can excel further in future com-
petitions if given the opportunity. When the results
were announced, I secured second place, with
Halima claiming first with a 3-point difference.

My favourite moment of the competition was Jor-
dan’s speech on “Money Buys Happiness.” Her
presentation was both engaging and informative,
effectively conveying her message to the audi-
ence. At the end of the event, Senegal House was
declared the overall winner, achieving 2nd place
Competition in KS4 and 1st place in the KS3 category.
