Elephant Goo and Playdough
A group of five-year-olds gather around a table, eyes sparkling with excitement. First, they
mix flour, salt, and water to create playdough. They knead the dough, adding glitter and
colours, enjoying the squishy texture and building their fine motor skills.
Next, they wear safety goggles for the elephant toothpaste experiment. We pour hydrogen
peroxide into a bottle, add soap and food colouring, and then mix in yeast. Suddenly, foam
erupts like a volcano, and the children laugh and cheer, amazed by the reaction.
These activities spark their imagination, teach primary science, and develop their motor
skills while having fun.
