Internet Safety Day
E-Safety Awareness: A Milestone Achievement
This year, we introduced a strategic overhaul of the contestant selection process for Who
Wants to Be a Champion enhancing the way we identify and choose participants. This
enhanced approach prioritises fairness, inclusivity, and precision. In previous editions,

favouring the quickest participants. To address this, a structured qualification process was
introduced, requiring candidates to complete online assessments in key digital literacy
areas, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Cyberbullying Awareness, and Internet
As part of the Safer Internet Day initiative, an Upper and Lower Primary assemblies were
held to reinforce critical E-Safety principles. A key highlight of the event was the ‘Who Wants
to be a Champion? quiz, designed to evaluate and enhance students’ understanding of
online safety. Featuring fifteen challenging questions, the quiz provided an engaging and
educational experience. Emmanuel Kamsy Iwanyanwu and Daisy Simon showcased an
exceptional understanding of E-Safety, securing the prestigious titles of Champion in the
Internet Safety Quiz, Season 7.
