These photos capture the dedication and patience of our Special Educational Needs (SEN)
teachers as they work with children experiencing learning gaps in phonics and literacy. You
can see the individualized attention each child receives, fostering a supportive and encour-
aging learning environment. The department attends to students who are also English as a
Second Language (ESL) learners, requiring additional specialized support to bridge language
barriers and build foundational literacy skills.
The program provides intensive intervention for three months, giving students a concen-
trated boost in these crucial areas. However, recognizing that every child learns at their own
pace, the program’s duration is flexible. If a student requires additional support beyond the
initial three months, our dedicated SEN teachers remain committed to providing continued
instruction and guidance until they achieve demonstrable progress. Their commitment en-
sures that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
