 Safeguarding  Together in safety, we stand strong—

 Keeping Ourselves Safe Every Day






 S

        afeguarding simply means keeping  Who We
 ourselves  safe,  happy,  and  protected.  In
 our school, we all have a responsibility to  Can Talk To
 stay  safe  and  to  speak  up  when
 something does not feel right.


 We can speak to:

 How We Can Keep  Our class teacher
 Any teacher in school
 Ourselves Safe  Teaching assistants or other trusted

 staff
 The Designated Safeguarding Lead
 (DSL) or Deputy DSL


 We can protect ourselves by:


 Staying close to our friends and
 trusted adults in school  Safeguarding is
 Following school rules during lessons,  everyone’s
 break time, and activities
 Being careful and kind in what we say  responsibility—
 and do
 Saying “no” if anything makes us feel  speaking up today
 uncomfortable or unsafe
 Being careful when talking to people  keeps us safe
 we do not know  tomorrow.
 Making safe choices both in school
 and when using devices
