The visit to the Sarius Palmetum and Botanical Garden was an amazing experience for the Recep-
tion Class! They got to explore and learn all about flowers, which not only boosted their nature

knowledge but also sparked their curiosity and love for the natural world. These kinds of outings
are so important for little ones as they help them develop a sense of wonder and care for the envi-
ronment.

During the tour, the children had special sessions where they learned about how flowers grow from
seeds and the important role that bees and other insects play in pollination. The teachers and tour

guide made sure to explain everything in a way that was easy for the kids to understand.

The children had a blast identifying different flowers based on their colours, shapes, and sizes. They
were so excited to learn the names of flowers like desert rose, angel trumpet and waterlily.

Guided by their teachers and the tour guide, the children explored the different sections of the gar-
den, touching and smelling the flowers to experience their textures and scents. It was a day full of
fun, learning, and adventure!
