                                        of term had a

                                        slightly

                                    mat. On Tuesday 26
       th andWednesday 27 th ,

we gave the students the rare
opportunity to show their understanding of

the criteria for good effort and in
applying them to their own and others’
work in a spectacular show of portfolios

to parents in the classrooms. Portfolios are
a collection of pupils’ work representing a

selection of performance. A portfolio may
be a folder containing a child’s best pieces
and the pupil’s evaluation of the strengths

and weaknesses of those pieces. It may
contain one or more work-in-progress that

illustrate(s) the creation of an idea - such as
an essay evolving through various stages of
       planning, drafting, revision and publishing.

Parents who signed up and attended the
event had a lot to say about our students’

confidence and the depth of their knowl-
       edge and application.
       It was breathtaking!
