short distances may seem convenient,
but it can be unhealthy and counterproductive
to overall well-being. Daily walking, including
moving to and from school or the hostel (for
boarding students), is more than just basic
exercise—it is truly beneficial for your health.
Feeling tired afterwards is normal and
expected.
Here’s what regular walking does for both
students and staff:
Strengthens joints and muscles
Improves digestion
Supports weight management
Promotes better rest and sleep
Helps regulate blood sugar levels
Improves appetite control
Boosts essential hormones
Reduces stress levels
Aids gut movement and reduces
constipation
Enhances lymphatic drainage
Improves mental clarity
Promotes healthy blood circulation
Walking is not just about burning calories—it
also plays a key role in regulating your body
systems and maintaining overall balance.
Don’t wait for motivation to go to the gym.
Start walking. Start now. With or without
music, make it a habit—unless medically
advised otherwise.
Walking is therapy. Walking is a natural reset. ©TRC clinic ✍
