Extension Programs Initiated by the Campus

         The Covid-19 pandemic has temporarily seized mobility
  of  people  and  the  services  geared  towards  them  across  the
  globe.  Although  this  has  resulted  in  uncertainties  among
  people  regardless  of  demographics  and  qualms  in  the  global
  economy,  this  only  sparked  immediate  government  response
  from people even beyond the purview of their work.

             The Ifugao State University, Potia Campus, Alfonso
  Lista,  Ifugao,  is  in  solidarity  with  this  call  to  cater  to
  immediate needs of the people under these challenging times.
  Various  programs  have  been  initiated  by  the  University
  because  it  understands  that  the  unprecedented  global  crisis
  does not spare vulnerable groups in the society. Made evident,
  IFSU distributed medical supplies such as face masks, alcohol
  and  antibacterial  soaps,  and  set  up  hand  washing  facility  at
  checkpoints  around  barangay  Potia,  Alfonso  Lista,  Ifugao,
  where the university is situated.  to encourage the community
  to practice proper hand hygiene.

         In  March  2020,  100  packs  of  relief  goods  were
  distributed  to  the  Potia  Campus’  Security  Personnel  and
  stranded  students.  On  the  same  month,  170  packs  of  relief
  goods,  100  pieces  of  alcohol  (100  ml),  160  calamansi-based
  antibacterial soaps and 100 locally produced face masks were
  distributed  to  the  Barangay  Local  Government  Unit  (BLGU)
  selected residents of Potia, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao and stranded
  IFSU  student.  Another  100  pieces  of  calamansi-based
  antibacterial  soaps  were  turned  over  to  the  Alfonso  Lista
  MDRRMC  to  be  distributed  to  the  frontline  workers  of  the
  municipality. Likewise, 140 packs of relief goods were turned
  over  to  the  Local  Government  Unit  of  Aguinaldo,  Ifugao.  For
  the  month  of  April,  the  Campus  continued  to  help  the  most
  vulnerable sectors of the community. Relief goods distribution
