National Grid has embarked on a major project to replace a gas
pipeline stretching five kilometres beneath the River Humber. This
important investment for National Grid will maintain up to 25 per
cent of Britain’s gas supplies, serving 22 million homes. As the
project reaches a major milestone, Engineer Isam Aldroubi presents
an overview of the Humber Pipeline Replacement Project and some
